Synthetic polyethylene fibres resin wicker is durable, resistant against the sun’s UV radiation as well as against humidity and water. The color is added in the production process and forms part of the fibre, thereby maintaining the desired visual appeal of the product it is used for. Resin wicker it is very elastic and sturdy, providing for great stability and seating comfort, those exact features that we like traditional wicker for. Furthermore, resin wicker requires much less maintenance. It is very easy to clean; it can simply be hosed down. It also does not require to be re-painted, as its colors barely fade over time. Due to these features, resin wicker has become extremely popular for outdoor products such as patio furniture.

Resin wicker is generally used over an aluminum frame to create light weight outdoor furniture. This type of furniture benefits from the advantages of resin wicker. Often described as all-weather resin wicker, it withstands the forces of the elements. Looking at customer experiences from both Amazon and the Ohana Facebook page it’s clear that customer service is very good, with rapid replacement of furniture damaged in transit being the most common issue.

We received our new Ohana set and it is great! We had a slight issue with two pieces that were damaged during shipping/delivery but you guys took care of shipping us new pieces within 15 minutes of my first email on the problem – that is incredible customer service! Thank you!

Amazon is fantastic for allowing detailed reviews from customers, and Ohana patio furniture gets on average a 4 out of 5 star ratings.

To summarize the reviews most people love the furniture and service, the cushions come in for some criticism for being a little hard when brand new, with not all of them having Velcro attachments to help them stay in place  on the furniture.

My personal view is that as these  are designed to be outdoor cushions they too have to withstand the elements, which means some compromise on comfort. If you want outdoor cushions that are as comfortable as indoor ones I would suggest looking at those made from marine grade fabric such as Sunbrella.

The actual furniture is great. Looks like a quality set, easy to put together and change up setup. It comes with brackets that make it so the pieces hold together which I don’t remember reading about so that is a bonus. My only complaint is the cushions are definitely a cheaper foam padding. This is probably best for outdoor use considering weather. The cover on the pillows are just fine though. The color is more of a lighter grey/beige than a true white. Pillows can always be replaced though so I’m still happy.

I found this set after I had searched many stores. Most of them had run out of supplies or the ones that had were more high end and one piece of the set cost more than this entire sectional. I bought it a week ago and just received it today, although the shipping was scheduled for next week only. I contacted the seller and explained it was a father’s day gift for my husband, who would arrive tomorrow from a long trip. They made the arrangements at no extra cost, to have it delivered before then. Great service!

The pieces seem stiry and are light weight. I was able to unpack them and put together with the “help” of my 3-year old. The cushions do slip a little, but I was aware of that from another review. I bought the slid proof mat, the ones you put underneath rugs, like one other customer suggested and did the trick. It is better quality than most retails….I had bought the set at Pier 1, but it would not be available until mid-July (half the summer gone!), so I returned it and got this one instead. Better deal, more affordable and superior quality, the finishes, the cushions. It sits a bit low, specially the back, but it is very comfortable….even for naps!
